I have done both:
1. Weeks where I follow a meal plan
2. Weeks where I don’t follow any plan
#1 equals peace.
#2 equals stress + expensive grocery bills.
While I am a huge advocate of stocking your pantry so you can make meals from scratch, I am also a huge advocate of the meal plan.
To be fair, I am not a huge planner. So making a plan takes effort and focus.
However, there is marked difference in how I feel when I plan meals for the week.
I’m calmer, I save money, and I can get excited about dinner.
Here’s my meal plan for next week. Mostly I wing recipes, but here’s the one I use for the noodle soup.
Here’s my recipe for Five Spice Chicken and Broccoli.
Meanwhile, I want you to start planning your menus. Here’s an amazing tool my friend and incredible designer Alison Monday created that’s easy and fun to use.
