Brigitte Theriault, the founder of White Apron, has been in love with food ever since she was a child, learning to cook at the feet of her grand-mere. She received her professional education in the French culinary arts at the Institut Culinaire St Pius X in Montreal, Canada and completed her training under the guidance of Thierry Jouanny chef de cuisine at Les Petites Plats dans les Grands, one of Montreal's culinary institutions. Brigitte spent the four following years cooking for New York families, and has recently re-located White Apron to San Francisco Bay area.
She founded White Apron in response to the schedules of today's busy parents, so that they would not be so often forced to choose between providing their children with quality food or quality time.
Theriault's unique culinary style combines her classical French training with her belief that the best food is also sometimes the least complicated. She is proud to be the only personal chef in San Francisco specializing in family-friendly, home-style cuisine and serves clients living in the Bay area.
